Jackie Britt

Jackie Britt is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Savannah State women's basketball program.

A dedicated mentor, trainer, and coach with more than 15 years of experience developing student-athletes both on and off the court, Britt is graduated from East Coweta High School in 2001 and began his collegiate career at Andrew College before transferring to Crichton College, where he studied Sports Management and played basketball.
After college, Coach Britt found his true passion—mentoring and coaching at-risk youth. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for developing athletes’ skills while also guiding them personally and academically. His coaching journey includes more than 15 years at the high school level at Newnan and Northgate high schools, three years at Miles College, and a half-season at Talladega College.

Coach Britt has helped numerous student-athletes advance to the next level, including NCAA Division I, II, and III, as well as NAIA, JUCO, and even professional opportunities. He takes pride in shaping players not only as athletes, but as young men and women prepared for success in life beyond the game.

Off the court, Coach Britt is a devoted husband to his wife, Charity, and a proud father to their three sons—Justin, Jace, and Jaydon.


Britt  played semi-pro basketball with the Southern Generals in the Universal Basketball Association were he a averaged 7.3 points and 5 rebounds per games during his three seasons (2011-13).
