2012: In her freshman year, Ashiedu competed in the number three spot for the Lady Tigers. She played in 15 singles matches, ending the season with a 4-11 record. She earned big wins in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play against North Carolina A&T’s Kenya Colbert, and Maryland Eastern Shore’s Enjoli Simmons. In double’s action she pared with teammate Sandra Kristjansdottir in the number one doubles spot. The team went 3-8 overall.

2013: Competing at the number four sport during her sophomore season, Ashiedu played in 15 singles matches.  She completed the season with a singles record of 2-13. She defeated Albany State’s Keyanna Russell and Jasmine Williams.  In doubles play, she teamed with Sandra Kristjansdottir.  The pair amassed a 2-13 record at the number one position.
