2012: Gheisary anchored the number two position for SSU last season. She finished the season with a 5-8 second position record and a 5-10 overall record. The Almaty, Kazakhstan native helped SSU to a 7-0 win over Alabama State with 6-2, and 6-0 set wins. Gheisary also had big Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) wins over Maryland Eastern Shore’s Shamara Mckenzie, and Coppin State’s Lauretta Mukam. Gheisary and Chandel McDonie played the two spot in doubles action, finishing 2012 with a 4-7 overall record. The team went 1-1 in MEAC play.
