The Savannah State Tigers played their first year at the brand new Tiger Baseball Field in 2012. The new field is part of the new baseball/softball Tiger complex that replaced the old Tiger Baseball Field. The Tigers have enjoyed an on campus field since the program’s inception in 1916.  The new field included a press box with VIP box, concession stand, restroom facilities, stadium lights, state-of-the-art scoreboard system, hitting facilities, and pitching bullpens. The new bleachers added 300 seats, for a total of 800.
