The Savannah State Lady Tigers played their first year in the brand new Tiger Softball Field in 2012. It is the first time since Softball’s inception in 1960 they have played on the Savannah State campus. Prior to 2012, the Lady Tigers played at Bacon Park in Savannah, Ga. The new field included a press box with VIP box, concession stand, restroom facilities, stadium lights, state-of-the-art scoreboard system, hitting facilities, and pitching bullpens. The new stadium seats 300.
