Savannah, Georgia-The Savannah State women's volleyball squad begins an important three-game road trip this week, and the football squad closes their 2025 season at home. We cover it all in this week's edition of "This Week In Tiger Athletics".

Women's Volleyball
Head Coach Roselidah Obunaga and the Lady Tiger women's volleyball squad currently sit tied for second place with Albany State in the uber competitive SIAC East Division and sit two games behind division leader Fort Valley State. The Lady Tigers begin an extremely important three-game road trip this week, starting on on Wednesday evening as they head to face Clark Atlanta, then on Friday the squad heads down to Jacksonville to battle Edward Waters. Both matches are set for 6:00pm and can be seen live on the SIAC Network.

Football
31 seniors will take to the home turf for the final time in their collegiate careers on Saturday afternoon. Their hard work and dedictation will be honored as Savannah State hosts Benedict College in the final regular season contest of the 2025 campaign. Kickoff is set for 3:00pm inside Theodore A. "Ted" Wright Stadium. The matchup will be shown live on the Savannah State Sports Network with Terry Hines and Curtis Foster providing the play-by-play.
