PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla.- The Savannah State men's golf team finished sixth at the 24TH PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championships.
As a team, SSU sot 930 (302+307+321) and finished four shots behind fourth place Alabama State (926).
Low medalist for Savannah State was
Dominique Worthen who shot 223 (74+73+76).
Following Worthen were
Daniel Hanania (231),
Tripp Walker (238),
Ricky Williams (242) and
Peter Teifer (243).
Texas Pan-American won the team event with a three-day score of 872 (290+291+291). Tennessee State placed second with a score of 874 followed by Jackson State (900), and Bethune-Cookman (907).
Armen Kirakossian of Texas Pan-American was low medalist with a 211.
