SAVANNAH, Ga.- South Dakota State pitchers Kori Seidlitz and Pam Nicholson combined to throw a one hitter to lead the Jackrabbits to a 10-0 win over Savannah State at the Paulson Complex.
SDSU scored twice in the second inning and eight times in the third.
Amber Wright had Savannah State's only hit, a single in the fifth inning.
Cassie Standard took the loss for SSU on the mound.
Dani Broshar hit a home run for the Jackrabbits (1-0) while Seidlitz struck out five in the win.
Savannah State lost their fourth in a row and dropped to 3-6.
