Homecoming Game Day Parking Guidelines and Ticket Information
SSU vs. Norfolk State (Saturday, October 4, 2014)
Kickoff – 2 p.m.
 
General Info
  • Parking fees will be enforced at campus entrances (Jasmine, Whatley and Falligant) at 7 a.m.
  • LaRoche Avenue gate will close at 7 a.m.; no vehicles may enter or exit. The LaRoche gate will remain closed throughout the evening for the safety of pedestrians.
  • Campus parking is $15 per vehicle; VIP stadium parking is not available for Homecoming.
  • Tiger Arena East and West lots and the Student Union parking lot will be closed to the public from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Game tickets will be available for purchase on Friday, October 3, at Tiger Arena from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
  • On game day, stadium ticket booths open at noon; stadium gates open at 12:30 p.m.

Students
  • Students with valid residential and commuter decals will be permitted to park in student-designated parking areas at no charge.
  • Residents of University Village cannot access UV parking from noon to 4 p.m. 
 
Faculty & Staff
  • Faculty and staff with valid campus decals will be permitted to enter campus at no charge and park in general parking areas.
 
Handicap Parking
  • Handicap parking is located on the home (Northeast) side of the stadium and is available for vehicles with valid handicap state-issued permits. Handicap overflow will be rerouted to the visitor's side of the stadium to designated parking area.
 
Shuttle Service
  • Shuttles will operate 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. to transport patrons from parking areas to the stadium; this includes shuttle service to and from parking lots at Myers Middle and Johnson High schools.
  • There will be a $3 shuttle fee for individuals parking at Myers and Johnson.
  • Shuttles drivers are unable to provide change for large bills ($20, $50, $100, etc.) when paying the $3/round-trip fare.
