PHILADELPHIA, Ms.- The Savannah State men's golf team placed 10th in the Frito Lay AT&T Intercollegiate played February 21 and 22 and the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club.

SSU shot 354 on day one and improved their score to 339 on the second day of action for a two day total of 693.

Daniel Hanania led SSU with a 162 (84+78) to finish tied for 27th.

Tripp Walker finished tied for 37th with a 167 (84+83) followed by Rickey Williams who was 47th with a 177 (91+86), Craig Jarrell who was 54th with a 188 (95+93) and Peter Teifer who finished tied for 56th with a 194 (102+92).

Union (Tennessee) won the event with a 618 (312+306) and was six shots ahead of Tennessee Tech who posted a 624 (318+306).

Low medalist for the event was Shephard Archie III of Florida A&M who shot 145 (74+71). Brandon Mundie of Lipscomb was right behind Archie with a 147 followed by Joshua Simer (148) of Tennessee Tech.
