PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla.- The Savannah State men's golf team is in fourth place after day one of the PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship.
The Tigers have a team score of 294 and trail Bethune-Cookman (287), Tennessee State (288) and Texas-Pan American (291).
Corey Brown, Ricky Williams and Tripp Walker all shot a 73 for SSU followed by
Riley Baxter's 75 and
Jamie Montgomery's 80.
SSU's Vonetta Epps is competing as a individual in the women's competion.
Epps has a out-in total of 92 and is in 13th place
