After shooting a 286 in day one, SSU shot 285 on day two and have a overall score of 571.
Bethune-Cookman remains the leader with 551 followed by Tennessee State (554) and Texas-Pan American (559).
Leading the way for the Tigers is Tripp Walker (142) who shot a 69 on day two.
Corey Brown (145) shot a 72 in the second round while
Jamie Montgomery (158) shot a 78,
Riley Baxter (154) shot a 79 and Ricky Williams (157) shot 84.
Vonetta Epps is playing as a individual for the SSU women.
Epps shot a 97 on day two and had a overall total of 189 and is in 13th place.
The final round will be on May 10.
