PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla.- The Savannah State men's golf team is tied for fourth place with North Carolina Central after two rounds in the PGA Minority Golf Championship at the PGA Golf Club.

After shooting a 286 in day one, SSU shot 285 on day two and have a overall score of 571.

Bethune-Cookman remains the leader with 551 followed by Tennessee State (554) and Texas-Pan American (559).

Leading the way for the Tigers is Tripp Walker (142) who shot a 69 on day two.

Corey Brown (145) shot a 72 in the second round while Jamie Montgomery (158) shot a 78, Riley Baxter (154) shot a 79 and Ricky Williams (157) shot 84.

Vonetta Epps is playing as a individual for the SSU women.

Epps shot a 97 on day two and had a overall total of 189 and is in 13th place.

The final round will be on May 10.
