Tigers To Run In Penn Relays

SAVANNAH, Ga.- Members of the Savannah State University track & field team will participate in the 115th Penn Relays April 23-25 in Philadelphia, PA at Franklin Field.
The SSU women will be represented in the 400m intermediate hurdles (Victoria Burch), triple jump (Amber Hughes and Sharonda Redfield) and the 4x200m and 4x400m relays (Amara Jones, Burch, Hughes and Mekela Martin).
The SSU men will participate in the 400m intermediate hurdles (Marcus Stallworth), shuttle hurdle relay (Vernon Williams, Stallworth, Aaron Whitaker and Brandon Norman), triple jump (Chris Blount), and the 4x440m and sprint medley relays (Tyrone McCoy, Eric Plump, Williams and Joseph Ferguson).
