Epps leads SSU with a 98 followed by
Cassie Standard (113),
Brittany Wilson (119) and
Brittany Chretien (136).
Hampton currently leads the field with a one shot lead over Bethune-Cookman after the first round.
Hampton has a team score of 314 followed by Bethune's 315 and South Carolina State's 322. Rounding out the six-team field are Alabama State (348), Tennessee State (365) and tournament host Savannah State (466).
Kim Wong of Bethune-Cookman is the individual leader after round one with a 74. Emma Taylor (Bethune), Iman Ellis (Hampton), Kala Williams (Hampton) and Cabriel Duren (South Carolina State) are all in a five-way tie for second with a 78.
